This is currently being filmed in Bucharest.

Evan Rachel Wood tweeted this earlier:
"Dude, Mads Mikkelsen is killing it! And I gotta say, Shia Labeouf is a trooper, you should see the stunt he is doing. Good god."

For the love of Darwin ... ( I am sorry if my swearing is too rude! Smile )

Ms E.R. Wood - "Dude" AKK ERRRK EEEEE tongue Sleep Mad No

Sorry - I rather don't like her all that much...

She's a not terribly talented actress - she was in a HBO Series called 'True Blood' a fantasy soap opera all about vampires in the the South Eastern states of the US ( she played a rather selfish vampire bitch queen in that show)...She was also in a a film called "Across the Universe" my secret passion I love you Eddie Izzard I love you was the only truly wonderful thing in that film.

It will be an acting challenge for our Darling Dane to show why he cares about this little monster in NDoCC...

love

Hello Nigel??

Quote :

"Poti sa ma suni in zece minute? "Poc!", suna pistolul actritei, indreptat spre obiectiv. Poc!".

"The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" are si doi producatori care nu sunt straini de Romania, Albert Berger si Patrick Newall. Berger a mai fost in Romania petru filmarile de la "Cold Mountain", dar de data aceasta are parte de experienta filmarilor citadine. Acesta a dezvaluit ca, initial, povestea de dragoste din "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" avea loc in Budapesta, unde scenaristul Matt Drake petrecuse un an si jumatate.

Pelicula reuneste un numar impresionant de actori celebri, precum Shia LaBeouf ("Transformers - Razboiul lor in lumea noastra" - 2007, "Indiana Jones si Regatul Craniului de Cristal" si "Eagle Eye/ Ochi de vultur" - 2008, "Transformers: Razbunarea celor invinsi" si "New York, I Love You" - 2009 si "Wall Street: Banii sunt facuti sa circule" - 2010), Evan Rachel Wood ("Luptatorul/ The Wrestler", serialul "Mildred Pierce", "Ziua tradatorilor/ The Ides of March", in regia lui George Clooney), Mads Mikkelsen, Til Schweiger ("Ticalasi fara glorie/ Inglorious Bastards") si Rupert Grint ("Harry Potter").

Mads Mikkelsen, winner of Cannes 2012 films in Romania: Bucharest is an interesting place for a love story

The movie "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman", which is poured at this time to MediaPro Studios, has a cast of superstars in Hollywood, and Evan Rachel Wood and Shia LaBeouf, but with Mads Mikkelsen, Male Performance winner of Festival at Cannes this year.

"You call me in ten minutes? Just hold a gun to it," says actress Evan Rachel Wood, smiling while talking on the phone. Near it is the skeleton of a ground plane. In dim light, up and tense as if ready to attack, she has only dialogue and camera operator gives instructions: "Look at Nigel, look at Charlie." "Bang!" Gun sounded actress headed goal. Indications continue obsessively, as the doctor: "Look at Nigel, look at Charlie ... Bang." Only to disrupt the ritual is a staff person who comes to arrange Evan, looks just like the first photo has in hand. Beyond the operator repeated indications, essential stage actress lives her character. In another building at MediaPro Studios in Buftea, Mads Mikkelsen live her last minutes of the day in the role of Evan's boyfriend, Nigel.

With a fresh award for Male Performance at the Cannes Film Festival (the film "The Hunt" by Thomas Vinterberg), Mikkelsen - dressed in a shirt that is printed images with dogs of many colors - tells how relaxed to the beginning, with each role. "We have not had time to mull this (prize at Cannes, no). We stayed only by aircraft. I'm glad people have seen what I did but when you get to work, things are the same, take the end of each day. of the same fears, the same questions and so it should be. It's nice to watch the prize, you are home, when I doubt, "says the actor.

About his roles, but also about the plate partners, Mikkelsen believes that I must like it. An expert of negative roles, the actor says Nigel - which plays in "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" - not a bad boy. "I'm a little older (than Evan Rachel Wood's character, no) and a little jealous. Not seen me for about three years. It is an overly full of emotions and make her and Charlie's problems," says Mikkelsen. It considers that, from his past roles, it "is magic, is a different story, a story is fragile". "After reading it saying:" O Lord, I have never read anything like it. "It's different," says Mikkelsen. "I saw the script a few years ago. The kind of text you read, page-turner, but do not know what will happen on the other page. It is very funny, very romantic, very brutal and continue to be surprised," says actor , to decide for yourself what role to accept and not accept that role.

"My choices were not conscious choices I've never thinking that I want to build a career. Are very personal. I wanted to do everything through career because you get to be disappointed. I tried to do what I wanted and people can believe what they believe. So I got to have a career, "says the artist.

Moreover, Mikkelsen treated with humor and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the European Film Academy. "When I heard many things I did, I said, 'Wow I actually played in some movies!" (...) It was fun to see people's faces that are expected to come on stage in a wheelchair, "the laughs the actor.

Also, Mikkelsen said to work on a movie set, you really need to like playing partners. "Always likes people. I make sure he likes. It is very hard to work with someone you do not like, so sure he likes me," he says. "I think I try to adapt and what the director wants. Some actors are solitary, others are angry. I have a different approach every time. For me it's important to feel comfortable on set. If I had to do something special for my partner feel comfortable doing this, if my partner has to do this for me, do. This is key, "says Mikkelsen, who said he wants to work, first, the" people power, people stay up all night, because they are committed to a project. " "I do not think there perfect chemistry. I think if you find it, you should stop," says Mikkelsen.

"The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" has two foreign manufacturers are not Romania, Albert Berger and Patrick Newall. Berger Peter was in Romania filming of "Cold Mountain", but this time has some experience filming in the city. He revealed that, initially, the romance of "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" held in Budapest, where writer Matt Drake spent a year and a half. "It was almost a love poem to Budapest," he said. "Initially, we thought we shoot there, but when we looked at the costs we thought that we shoot in Bucharest ... plus that was filmed in Budapest than in Bucharest is an environment that looks less like a view "he said. Among the places to film, the most beloved is the old center of Bucharest. "I think it's an interesting place for a love story ... It is a place for the American public," says Berger.

A veteran of filming in Bucharest, Patrick Newall said in turn that Romania is a good place for filmmakers that have qualified, but because it places bidders in terms of cinema.

"It is a place that is easy to work, people are very kind, resourceful, loyal. Bucharest allows it. It is a freedom that does not exist in the United States. Bucharest does not have many rules, somehow. I been fortunate to work with very talented people, "says Newall. He confessed that Romania reminds the United States 100 years ago, when people worked to have what they deserve. "In Romania there is always an open door, no room for discussion," said Newall, who had the most beautiful Romanian experience in shooting from the mountains to work at minus 30 degrees Celsius, the invention for production cars blocked off snowy roads.

"The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" is a romantic drama "pulp", which tells the story of an American who traveled to Europe after his mother's death and falls for a Hungarian who is wanted by a mobster known for his cruelty.

Filming for this feature will take place until June 26, in Bucharest and the MediaPro Studios in Buftea.

The film brings together an impressive number of famous actors such as Shia LaBeouf ("Transformers - their war in our world" - 2007 "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and "Eagle Eye / Eagle Eye" - 2008, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen "and" New York, I Love You "- 2009 and" Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps "- 2010), Evan Rachel Wood (" Fighter / The Wrestler "show" Mildred Pierce "," Day traitors / The IDEs of March ", directed by George Clooney), Mads Mikkelsen, Til Schweiger (" Ticalasi without glory / Inglorious Bastards ") and Rupert Grint (" Harry Potter ").

The film is directed by Fredrik Bond and the screenplay is by Matt Drake, responsible for "Project X", produced by Warner Bros.

Hello Nigel!

Regarding the scratching -- two possibilities .....

One - it is some primate based instinct to determine dominance. As Mads scratched his shoulder and ribs I thought of a powerful silver back mountain gorilla and Shia scratching his legs suggested that he was preparing to run away...

Or

Two - Shia has lice and now Mads has some too.

LOL jocolor

Men sometimes tug on their belts when they see an attractive woman, and every man that I have noticed doing this claims to be unaware that they did it.

Now I wonder what's the difference between men and monkeys Laughing But it is not the first time Mads scratches himself. I've seen videos of him where he scratch his hair, chin, jaw, chest and wrist. I guess he was nervous or a bit shy.
It is a good thing he is not scratching you-know-where Laughing which reminds me of my favorite video; Mads and Kenned Razz
Mads' body language is beautiful; he moves flawlessly and smoothly. He is quite poised. We can attribute that to years of gymnasium. But his hands gestures are a bit confusing and nervous.

The film will be screened at the Berlinale as part of the Competition (as A Royal Affaire last year). Apparently it premiered at the Sundance festival last week and got terrible reviews. Three are to be found here: twitchfilm, film.com and joblo.com.
I have to admit I totally forgot about that film and was quite surprised when I was looking through the Berlinale's programme today. And the reviews seem to verify my suspicion concerning that film. Cool
But I think I will have a look anyway... Wink
