Well, somewhere in the back of my mind there is a voice insisting that I read something about a premiere in Berlin...

Why is it always you, who'll see Mads in front of your door? In my opinion Mads should travel more through Germany. Scottie, Caranaraf and I want to see him too (and not go for Berlin). Sad We are as much important as our capital.

Well, two years ago he was in Saxony and in Bavaria for the shooting of Three Musketeers. And he was in Munich for the Film Festival... But you are right, Berlin is the place where he went to most. But I think it is also due to Potsdam Babelsberg "film city" (again Musketeers, but also The Door).

But I forgot: Welcome to delurking, Zoia! Very Happy

I just watched the latest episode a.k.a. the whole Move On film ... is it just me or is the end weird? I mean the whole movie is this rather consistent spy-thingy and suddenly
Spoiler:

It all feels rather Valhalla-Rising-y for me... but still a nice film, especially when you consider that the whole thing is basically a big ad for mobile phones Laughing Still I would have wished for a different ending to the story between Mads' character and the girl that took the case from him.

random question: who else cried when Mads cried? I can never help it... during A Royal Affair I was practically bawling in my seat.

I read that yesterday and wondered how you came across that thought (having seen only the first five episodes). But now having seen the whole film, I must say: very well put! Laughing

Depends - in 'Vildspor' I was just a sobbing mess. But it is not difficult to get me start crying while watching a movie and it's getting worse each year. Now I even cry at the happy end of a German comedy! Shocked Cool

Was there a bomb in the case? After he threw the case in the hole, there was a huge rumbling sound and pieces of the hole started falling apart. What was that big hole supposed to be anyway? lol. Question

I had to work on Tuesday but the rehearsal finished earlier than I thought so I rode my bike to the cinema International. When I got there the press was just leaving. So I went to the ladies with the lists and the tickets to ask if there is any chance to get in. The lady I talked to said there are already more guests on the list than seats and she would be happy if not everyone would show up. If I wouldn't have worn working clothes like heavy safety shoes, torn trousers and sweaty shirts I might have waited to see if I could get in. So I left for home to spend the evening with my roommate who was leaving for Costa Rica the next morning. Very Happy

There are some pictures in the net, an interview and some articles. Most is in German (except the interview). Unfortunately I don't have the time to translate it, maybe Google can be of any help...
Apparently they are trying to sell the film to tv stations.
Sueddeutsche Zeitung wrote an interesting article.
Here are some pictures plus an interview with Mads and Asger.

Strange ending... I enjoyed the film but the end did confuse me a bit ...what was that concrete hole in the middle of the lake?

Partizipatorischer WEB-THRILLER ERSTMALS IM TV

I watched it today - in two parts. Because it was very boring in my eyes. There were rarely dialogues and so I don't understand the motivation of the protagonists. What's the mission of Mads? Only that woman has a mission - she looks very similar like Alicia Vikander!

There are some nice landscapes and Mads has some nice scenes too, but the rest is not that important/thrilling whatever to watch if once again.

Well I see, that a brilliant actor can't save a movie, if the story is boring or without sense.

I'm disappointed and I'm glad, that I hadn't much interest in that movie before seeing it.

There were some points, that were stupid.

Spoiler:

And Mads smokes to often. I've read something some days ago, that some non-smokers protest, because there were many commissars at German TV, who are smoking and that smoking cigarettes doesn't belong to that character. It's not important, if the commissar has a cigarette in his hand or not, when he say something. My first impression was: That's stupid - it doesn't matter, if someone at TV smokes or not. But I thought a while about it, and now I think, the screenwriter should think about it and allow cigarettes only, if it's necessary. I mean in the classic movies all men smoke, because it was masculine. But in these days we want to do something against that drug and that children and young people don't start it. So it would be better, if there are less smokers at TV or movies. The actors could do it in their free time, but on screen it's often not important for the character.

And I don't think, that smoking is important for Mads character in Move on. He didn't smoke when he was nervous or after a brutal scene. That would make any sense to me. But he smokes without motivation and I only thought: poor Mads! You can't live without your cigarettes, so that you are allowed to smoke in the movie too.

Quote :
Mads Mikkelsen: "Man zweifelt immer an dem, was man tut!"

Der Schauspieler war gestern in Berlin zu Gast, um seinen neuen Film "Move On - The Road Movie inspired by you" vorzustellen.

Mads Mikkelsen: "You always doubt in what you are doing!"

Mads Mikkelsen is in every new project plagued by doubts - only it would be a film, but also be good, he reveals in an interview.

The actor was in Berlin yesterday as a guest to his new movie "Move On - The Road Movie inspired by you" present. The strip, which was produced by Deutsche Telekom, animated movie fans around the world in advance to participate in the project and actively participate in the action on the screen. That this could possibly go wrong, why is not caused Mikkelsen as he revealed in an interview with news agency IF.

"No, I was not worried that this could go wrong," laughs the actor who will be seen next year in his new series "Hannibal". "I think you have doubts just keep on with what you're doing, but this doubt a must-have, and you need that fire to keep going, but in this film, there was no real objective, as it should be at the end:.. We did not want people to cry in Cannes at the end of the film, we had no real purpose. so if you can tell knows the goal and then missed, then one that you've done crap. "

That the Hollywood star who alongside Daniel Craig in "Casino Royale," the bad guys "Le Chiffre" played, promised to cooperate in the film, mainly thanks to his adventurous spirit. "The idea was for me the first time and I found it very interesting. We had a story, but that should change course during the filming yet," said Mikkelsen, who, together with Alexandra Maria Lara from the 7th November is seen to "move-on-film.com" in the agent-strip.
