Source: Oscar go The royal affair is nominated! I'll cross my fingers. But I'm really surprised about the I think 5 nominations for "Amour"! Best picture! Best Actress! Director! Screenplay! and Foreign movie! That will be hard for "A royal affair" to win. I'm a little sad, that I didn't saw Amour and now it's not at the cinemas anymore. Maybe I should buy the DVD, because it seems to be a very, very good movie with that much prizes.

| I find it a bit unfair to nominate Amour both in international best AND best movie. A Royal Affair will probably not win. Anyone an idea if Mads will be at the Oscars?
Oh boy, the visual effects category..... yay Avengers!

| Yeah. Amour will win, I suppose. There's no real chance for the other movies in the Foreign Category. Sadly. That's why I don't know, if Mads will be there. I mean, if you won't win, you have to decide, if you'll go there. But it's publicity too, so maybe Mads will do it because of that. In 2006 there was a big chance to win with After the wedding, so he was there. I really have to watch Amour, because that movie wins sooo many awards, that it must be good! I mean they don't have Mads, but there are a few nice movies without Mads too. Although Mads would rock every movie and make it much more better! | |

| Has anybody seen this site: Icestreet There are posters of the nominated movies for the Oscar - but with Mads on it. I don't know, who was such crazy! Some pictures are not that bad, but you don't have to take a picture from Le Chiffre, because you always compare it with James Bond and not with a new film. But a funny idea! | |

| Yeah! They should have give Amour another award and then this one would be free for "A royal affair". But I have some pictures for you. From Mads facebook site: Photo: Tina Jøhnk Mads Mikkelsen in Los Angeles with the Danish Minister of Culture Marianne Jelved and the team from A Royal Affair. Photo: Tina Jøhnk Mads Mikkelsen, Alicia Vikander and Cyron Melville in Los Angeles right now. Mads and Alicia She looks really pretty! She could be happy, because Anna Karenina won an Oscar last night. | |

| I wasn't sure if I should watch it or not. I saw it only one time with James Franco and Anne Hathaway and it was sooo boring. I saw the red carpet on TV, but no Mads and then I went to bed, because the show should start one hour later … so I went to bed. I've read in a forum today, that someone saw Mads in the background. I think, that he wasn't that important to have an interview with him, because everybody knows, that Amour must be the winner in this categories. But well ... the interviews are very boring on such a day. How do you feel and where's your dress from? | |

| And the bling. "Oh, it´s from Tiffany´s!" That one interviewer (the very short one) from ABC was so annoying. Like she was on speed or something and calling everyone "Baby"! What was her damage? The show was pretty funny. The host was very good this time. I´ve seen a lot Hugh Jackman (please try to remember to shave next time or at least trim) and RDJ(yumm). Adele is a Godess singing live. Neither The Hobbit nor Avengers won anything. Too bad. Well, the really succesful films are most often ignored. Kinda strange.... | |

| Well, what do you expect from the Awards which didn't nominate Mads as the best actor and give him the award! I didn't saw the Avengers, but the Hobbit (of course, because I'm a big fan of "The lord of the rings" (books)), but I didn't like the movie that much. There was no need to make three movies of the story. I mean two would be too much. The story isn't that great, that you can fill 9 hours with it. I didn't read the book for a long time (that was a good choice, because you can't be disappointed, while waiting on your favorite scenes in the book), but there wasn't a red line in the movie. There was too much action only to have action (the scenes in the orc cave, or the giants of stone). And a lot more, which I doesn't like. But I didn't like the Lord of the rings movies too, so it's hard to satisfy me with my favorite books. I think, that the arward for the best costumes are in the right hands, because when I watched "Anna Karenina" I wished I had the dresses and the jewelry of Keira Knightly. It looks amazing. And I'm not that fashion style type. | |

| I like the LOTR movies in the extended version. I didn´t read read the books yet. I just started the Hobbit, though. I think I have time this week to read it. (Bin krank geschrieben. Verdammt, es ist Ende Februar und ich hab gedacht ich hab mich um die Grippewelle drumrumgemogelt, aber sie erwischt jeden. Abartig.)
